Wow, what a week (again), we have just completed another huge hurdle toward our mission. Pam has been packing all of our household items in boxes and clear plastic storage bins for the past month. Friday morning at 7:00am I rented the largest U-haul truck available, 24 feet long. Dan, Ernie, Jacob, Nathan, Jared and sons all met at the house to load it. Four hours later and drenched in sweat we were finally finished, (see all of the pictures). Everything didn’t fit in the truck & Expedition so we got the Flower shop’s E-150 Ecconoline delivery van to get it all on the road.
The same afternoon we were off to Taylor, AZ. Ernie drove the big U-haul truck, Jacob drove the shop’s Ford van and Pam & I went in the expedition. We spent the night at Vic’s house in Taylor. The next morning we had a huge crew to help unload everything in the storage unit in Snowflake. The helpers were Adam & Ruth Gurr, Ben Quist, Ray & Debbie Quist, Angela & a friend, and Vic Wilson. They were great. All-in-all it was a great 2 days. Everything was put into storage. Now we have only one week to clean our home before the renters move in.... another big hurdle.
Everything is coming together for us. The Lord seems to have taken a
personal hand in blessing us with all of our needs before we leave. We
now have 18 months renters for both of our houses and every other
obstacle we’ve faced has worked out in miraculous ways. We are truly blessed.
