I spent over 5 hours trying to electronically transfer funds for our new apartment. You’d think it would be a simple task and accomplished on the first try but not so. I was on line an hour and a half last night and then another 4 hours today. I had to transfer our first month rent plus 2 months security deposit.

Yesterday the Landlord waved the up-front deposit. She also waved the waiting period for us to move in. She said usually she would make up transfer the funds and then she would wait until they were in her bank to give us a key. She was very nice to us and we found out why. She said “Because you are Mormon Missionaries!” pointing to our name plates. Yes, the Lord does take care of his missionaries and everyone recognizes us as we are seen in public.

Since we have the keys we were able to move in. We spent our first night in our new apartment. But the cupboard are literally bare so we made our first trip to the market to buy some essentials. We brought a lot of things with us but we needed bottled water and some food. The Larsen’s will be giving (Willing) us a lot of household items. We are putting off buying a lot of stuff until next week when they are done packing to go home.
