This morning I was at the “Aduana” (Customs package pickup) as I am every Thursday. I picked up 13 packages for our missionaries today. The package pickup window was very busy because Christmas is coming. They had tons of packages to hunt through to find all 13 for our mission. I was their first customer when they opened at 9:00am and it took me over an hour and a half before I finally left.
When most Aduana customers only have one package to pick up, they are in and out in about 30 minutes. Sometimes the Aduana has been so busy that I’ve had to wait more than 3 hours for my packages.
These photos are just so interesting. We still haven't gotten any pictures from our daughter, so your website is very informative and helpful to see what life in the DR is like. I thoroughly enjoy everything you post. Thank you!!!
