Another week has come to an end with another flurry of activity. More so this time because it is also the end of the month. Hna. Johnson had to do all of her end of month accounting before the weekend which is a huge job. The office Elders and I were busy doing our own thing trying to get “Houses” (those are the apartments we rent for the missionaries) either opened, inspected, approved, contracts written, moved into or closed, cleaned, keys returned, deposits returned, etc. all before the end of the month.

This afternoon Hna Johnson got an e-mail from Elder Dixon’s mother asking how her son was recovering from his bike accident with the motorcycle lasts weekend. Hna. Johnson got to write her a nice long letter telling her all about her son’s recovery. And Elder Dixon has recovered very well; in fact he is chomping at the bit to get back out into the mission field with his companion in San Juan. All week Elder Dixon has been a big help in the office with odd jobs that needed to get done. We will miss his great smile when he leaves the office but he is needed much worse in San Juan doing missionary work than odd jobs here in the office.
