This morning Hna. Johnson and I went shopping. We were looking for Christmas gift ideas for the Elders we work with as well as the Branch members in Neyba and DuvergĂ©. We found some things to consider but we didn’t buy anything yet. We’ve got some real good ideas. One thing we know we are going to give the members is a print of the Santo Domingo Temple suitable for framing.
We also stopped at a flower stand. They had the best and the freshest flowers we’ve seen yet. Hna. Johnson already has some red carnations so she bought some cedar branches for greens in the arrangement. They are very aromatic and smell wonderful. The fragrance reminds me of the flower shop at Christmas time.
Today was another Zone Temple day. This time there were 42 Elders and Hermanas that went to the Temple together. Afterward they all went to the Mission Home for a Christmas dinner with Pres. & Hna. Almonte. The Almonte’s are doing this with all of the zones, a couple at a time, until they all go to the temple and have a Christmas dinner with them. It is a huge undertaking but our missionaries are worth it! They are the best.
