Today we had two major events. First was our 7th “Translado” since we arrived on our mission to the Dominican Republic. We have only 6 left before our mission is over. It’s hard to believe that we only have 8 months of our mission left. But we’ve loved every minute of it.

Hna. Johnson and I arrived at the “Capilla de Translados” (Transfer Chapel) at 6:45 this morning. Our orientation meeting started at 7:00am. We took pictures, filled out forms, gave instructions, had them write letters to their parents, etc. This is a very good group of missionaries. We received 11 Elders and 3 Hermanas. They came from the US, El Salvador, Haiti, Chile and the DR.

Back at the mission office we got to say goodbye to 7 Elders. Six of them will be flying home to the USA. The seventh will be catching a bus home to Monte Cristi, here in the DR. These have all been very good missionaries, the Lord’s finest!
