This evening we invited the office Elders, Bates & Almonte and Elder Diaz (for the moment they are a threesome) over for dinner. Hna. Johnson prepared taco salad. Elder Almonte demonstrated the proper way to peel and slice a big fresh Mango. It was a very good meal and more than enough for everyone to have seconds.
After dinner the elders gave us a short devotional/message that started with them singing “I Am a Child of God” acapella. They did a very good job. The food was great, the company was super and the spirit of our Heavenly Father was present in abundance. If anyone wants a spiritual lift from time to time, invite the Elders for dinner. They will appreciate it and you will enjoy the spirit that they bring into a home.
